If you are a student within the Illinois State residence halls, University Housing Services (UHS) is asking you to take a break from studying and writing to “Relieve the Stress With UHS.”
Become a Curb Bird volunteer with University Housing Services and help with move-in Wednesday, August 12, through Friday, August 14, at assigned residence halls.
Wilkins, Haynie, and Wright residence halls all opened in 1964. To mark the occasion, University Housing will host a Wilkins Hall 50th birthday alumni reunion on October 3, during Homecoming.
Move-in moved along seamlessly as Curb Birds jumped in to wrap plastic around whatever was loaded onto carts, holding fridges and futons together for the shuffle to the elevator.
Just over 6,500 students will move into Illinois State University’s residence halls beginning on Wednesday, Aug. 18, and Thursday, Aug. 19.
