Illinois State University will host a Cardinal Court groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, April 19, at 2:30 p.m. on Gregory Street. Parking is available in the lot off of Adelaide Street between the soccer and softball fields. The ceremony is open to the public.

The 1950s campus apartment complex was demolished to make way for a public-private housing initiative, which will open in August 2012. University staff will manage the new complex, which will include indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and spaces for studying and gathering.
