Illinois State University has been rated as one of “The 25 Colleges That Add the Most Value” by Money magazine.

As part of its recent Best Colleges rankings, Money magazine highlighted Illinois State as a university that adds value to the education it provides by outperforming peer institutions in graduation rates and alumni earning. Illinois State is one of four universities in Illinois included in the added value ranking.

“Money magazine’s ranking of Illinois State as an institution that adds value is further recognition of the excellent work being done by our faculty and staff,” said President Larry Dietz. “Illinois State’s graduation rate of 71.5 percent puts it in the top 10 percent of public and private universities nationwide. Seeing that fact recognized by the editors at Money is truly gratifying.”

Other Illinois schools include the University of Illinois at Chicago, Monmouth College and Bradley University. Money’s added value ranking also includes the University of California-Irvine, University of California-Los Angeles, Rutgers University- Newark and Washington State University.
