Alan Lacy, associate dean in the College of Applied Science and Technology, has been named the interim associate vice president for fiscal management in the Division of Academic Affairs for two years, effective May 15.

Lacy will serve as fiscal agent for the Office of the Provost and the Division of Academic Affairs, and will provide general oversight and accountability of budgets and budget priorities for general revenue, agency and foundation accounts.

“Alan Lacy’s budgetary experience and wide knowledge of campus systems make him an excellent choice for this position,” said Provost Janet Krejci. “Alan is a well-respected colleague and has the support of faculty, chairs, deans and the campus community.”

Lacy joined Illinois State University as director of the School of Kinesiology and Recreation in 1999. He was named an associate dean in the College of Applied Science and Technology in 2006.
