An evening of poetry and drama will be performed under the Planetarium stars from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 14; Thursday, April 16; and Saturday, April 18, at the Illinois State University Planetarium. The event is free and open to the public, but seating is limited.

The performance weaves a message that the greatest danger to our future is apathy and includes the short film First Date, written by Daniel Esquiel and a new play called Mass by David Ian Lee. The play will be produced as a staged reading under the stars. There will also be a poetry reading called Playing with Fire: Game. Set. Match.

The shows are produced by the School of Theater and Dance’s RSO FREESTAGE. For more information, call the Planetarium’s Skyline at 438-5007 or visit the Planetarium website.
