Environmental Health & Safety is looking for employees to serve on the University’s Emergency Call Center (ECC).

“ECC personnel play a critical role in communicating with concerned parties who wish to speak with a University representative about a campus emergency situation,” said JC Crabill of Environmental Health & Safety.

The team is only activated for critical emergencies of an extended nature, which could occur anytime day or night. Slots are open to current, full-time employees, who have good verbal communication, an ability to perform under stress, and who demonstrate compassion to those who may be emotionally overwhelmed.

Those interested should contact the Emergency Call Center Lead, Mark Gramley at 438-8326.
