Physics colloquium to examine biomolecular engineering
The Department of Physics at Illinois State University will continue the Fall 2016 Colloquium Series at 4 p.m. Tuesday October 11, in Moulton Hall, Room 214.
“From Frontier in Physics to Biomolecular Engineering” will be presented by Tyson Shepherd Ph.D. from the Department of Biological Engineering at MIT.
Shepherd specializes in DNA and RNA nanotechology, and is currently developing design and synthesis approaches to engineer structured DNA and RNA assemblies for applications in biomolecular science and technology.
