Get up close and personal with the tasty event Cook with a Redbird Chef on November 4. Redbirds will visit the Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) Foods Lab to witness the talent of Illinois State students as they instruct guests on how to prepare a delicious Redbird meal.

The evening will start with appetizers made by Illinois State FCS students. Dinner will then be prepared by guests! It will start with the preparation of roasted pork tenderloin with kumquats, cranberries, and apples along with fall squash and citrus poached asparagus. Following dinner, a salted caramel pumpkin cheesecake will be served for dessert.
