The Bone Student Center Revitalization project is progressing on schedule. The first sequence of construction work, which includes new entrances to the east and west, a grand stair to the plaza, three new food venues, and a larger bookstore, is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2019.
Increased construction activity will be occurring in December 2017 and some planned utility outages will need to take place to facilitate the construction work. On a per building basis, occupants/users can expect the following utility system outages during days that the University is open:
Bone Student Center/Braden Auditorium
November 20-22 (Monday and Tuesday of Thanksgiving week) – WATER OUTAGE – dish room area only
Bone Student Center/Braden Auditorium/Bowling and Billiards Center
December 18-22 (last day of work before Winter Break is December 21) – WATER OUTAGE – whole building affecting all building bathrooms, all drinking fountains and break rooms
Milner Library
December 18-22 (last day of work before Winter Break is December 21) – WATER OUTAGE – whole building affecting all building bathrooms, all drinking fountains and break rooms
During the above noted dates, all of these buildings will have building heating through the entirety of the time the University is open and operating. Identified, alternative restroom locations for users of these buildings during the water shutdown periods will be the Student Services Building, Felmley Hall, and Schroeder Hall.
