Graduate Council seeks nominations
The Nominating Committee of the Graduate Council is seeking nominations or self-nominations of full graduate faculty members to fill openings on each of the three committees:
Membership and Student Development Committee: Two seats—one seat open for a faculty member from the College of Education and one from the College of Applied Science and Technology.
Graduate Curriculum Committee: Two seats—one seat open for a faculty member from College of Education and one from Mennonite College of Nursing.
Research Committee: Two seats—there are two already seated members on this committee from the Department of Chemistry and the School of Kinesiology and Recreation. Two additional seats need to be filled by full graduate faculty that are not from these two programs.
Those elected will serve a three year term August 2018—April 2021.
Submit nominations to Kim Shennett, firstname.lastname@example.org, by 4:30 p.m. on February 19. Before making a nomination, please confirm with the nominee that they are willing to stand for election. The slate of candidates will appear on the March ballot.
Note that one year must lapse between the expiration of an elected Graduate Council member’s term and a new nomination.
