Organizers are looking for proposals for the Fall 2018 Culturally Responsive Campus Community (CRCC) Conference.

This fall’s conference, titled Diversity and Inclusion in an Ever-Changing Political Environment, will be October 30-31 at Illinois State University. This conference is aimed at continuing to honor the contributions and talents of our diverse community and seeks tangible strategies and recommendations that can empower individuals to take a more active role in breaking down and dismantling systems of oppression.

CRCC members are seeking proposals on a wide range of topics, including ageism, LGBTQ issues, race, and the wage gap. In addition to the topics and areas that have been covered by CRCC conferences during the past two years, organizers are adding an international dimension to this year’s conference to reflect on what diversity and inclusiveness mean to Illinois State.

Submissions are due by August 31 for faculty, staff, and community members, and September 16 for graduate and undergraduate students. Proposals can be submitted here.

More information about the conference can be found on the CRCC website. For information on proposals, contact CRCC@ilstu.edu.
