Carl Schimmel’s, MUS, “Contemplation on Vanessa in the Boneset” was premiered in California and received additional performances in Utah and Rhode Island. His work “Vasilissa the Invincible” for piano quartet was premiered by the Clarosa Quartet at the Kingston Chamber Music Festival.
Charles Bell, CJS, had the article “Poverty to Ph.D.: An Insider Account of Structural Barriers That Affect Impoverished Students of Color” published in the September 2018 edition of ACJS Today, the official newsletter of the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences.
