The Nominating Committee of the Graduate Council is seeking nominations or self-nominations of full graduate faculty members to fill openings on each of the three committees:

Membership and Student Development Committee: Two seats–one seat open for a full graduate faculty member from the College of Arts and Sciences and one from the College of Fine Arts.

Graduate Curriculum Committee: Two seats–one seat open for a full graduate faculty member from College of Applied Science and Technology and one from the College of Fine Arts.

Research Committee:  Two open seats–members still serving terms on this committee are from the departments of Psychology (College of Arts and Sciences) and Family and Consumer Sciences (College of Applied Science and Technology). The two seats being vacated need to be filled by full graduate faculty from different departments and preferably from different colleges.

Those elected will serve a three-year term August 2019–April 2022.

Submit nominations to Kim Shennett, keshenne@ilstu.edu, by 4:30 p.m. on February 18, 2019. Before nominating, please confirm with the nominees that they are willing to stand for election. The slate of candidates will appear on the March ballot.

Note that one year must lapse between the expiration of an elected Graduate Council member’s term and a new nomination.
