In light of the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision on Roe v. Wade, Illinois State University will hold a Listening Circle under the guidance of Associate Director of Diversity, Equity, and Outreach Danielle Beasley of the Student Counseling Services from noon-1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 7.
With roots in Indigenous cultures around the world, Listening Circles provide a space for speaking with and listening to each other in an atmosphere of safety, with an opportunity to openly express feelings of anxiety, grief, or confusion without judgement.
The Circle is open to Illinois State University students, faculty, and staff. Register for the Listening Circle here.
