A monthly series of films showing at the Normal Theater will focus on the global climate change crisis.
The Green Screen: 2022 Climate Change Film Series is free and open to the community. The series is sponsored by Illinois State University’s Center for Math, Science and Technology and the ISU Office of Sustainability.
All films will be screened at 7 p.m. at the Normal Theater.
November 15, 2022 – Hands On: Women, Climate Change (2014)
Directors, Basu, Kiio, Marcoux-Fortier, and Miller
Hands-on profiles of five women from four continents tackling climate change through policy, protest, education, and innovation. The film demonstrates how women are transferring knowledge and local networks into hands-on strategies.
