Join Event Management, Dining, and Hospitality (EMDH), Health Promotion and Wellness, and other wellness organizations for Nutri-Fest on Thursday, May 4, from 11:30 am to 2 pm in the Bone Student Center’s Circus Room. Each year, Nutri-Fest provides knowledge and helpful information while allowing attendees to sample nutritious, healthy foods.
This year’s theme, “Fuel for the Future,” promotes zero-waste practices and sustainability in the food industry with a focus on local farming, composting, beekeeping, and food preservation. EMDH will showcase and serve a smoothie bowl and a green goddess bean dip with an allergy friendly flatbread. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy these and other snacks while learning about sustainable practices benefitting individuals and the environment and how to incorporate these ideas into everyday life.
