As the temperature drops outside, Redbird student-athletes are staying warm and sharpening their competitive edge in the new Athletics Indoor Practice Facility.
Appears InLocated north of Horton Field House, the air-supported structure features a 100-yard practice turf football field with a single end zone. The heated and insulated facility allows for year-round use by Redbird Athletics teams. The year-and-a-half, $11.5 million project was completed in late summer, and the practice facility officially opened during a ribbon cutting ceremony in September.
