Annual Sick Leave Bank election opening

Illinois State University is committed to supporting employees during times of need and continues a practice and tradition that is over 25 years old with the annual opening of the Sick Leave Bank in iPeople. The Sick Leave Bank serves as a way to alleviate the hardship caused by a serious health condition that forces an employee to take time away from work on an approved leave and for employees on approved Parental Leaves. Elections to donate will again open this year for eligible employees from April 5 through April 16. Academic year 2023-2024 wraps up for leadership certificate

Over 40 departments will see staff and faculty receiving leadership certificates through the inaugural run of the HR Leadership Certificate program on campus. The program featured talented speakers and presenters from both campus leaders as well as industry experts in the areas of organizational communications, managing performance, ethical leadership principles, team building and morale, leadership styles, and more. Administrative Professional performance appraisals

Annually a performance appraisal process is designed to provide a formal opportunity for communication and feedback between a supervisor and an employee. Performance appraisals also provide an opportunity to discuss and set goals for the coming evaluation period. If you missed our recent learning session on performance management, there is also video content on giving and receiving feedback through our online partnership with LinkedIn Learning (simply search “feedback” once inside the application and look for the Illinois State University learning path). Supervisors of AP employees will be contacted via email with a reminder in the next few weeks about completing this annual evaluation.
