The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (RSP) has announced that 16 new members have joined Illinois State University’s Million Dollar Club. The Million Dollar Club was established in 1990 by President Thomas Wallace and Provost David Strand “to recognize grant/contract productivity by members of the ISU community.” Here are the 2024 inductees:

These individuals reached $1 million in total cumulative external funding during the 2024 fiscal year. They join a club of more than 167 employees who have obtained $1 million or more in external funding for research and other sponsored programs.
During the past decade, Illinois State University has received over $250 million in external grant funding. First given in the early 1990s, the Million Dollar Club honor was reinstituted in 2009.
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (RSP) offers a number of services and tools to help faculty/staff members identify and secure external grant funding. That funding, which supports a wide array of research, teaching, and service initiatives, is an important factor that enables faculty/staff members to carry out their projects.
