Registered student organizations (RSOs) affiliated with the Multicultural Center will host 2023 cultural graduation recognition events that honor the University’s Latino/a/x, LGBTQIA+, and Middle Eastern, Asian, and Pacific Islander, and Southeast Asian graduates, their families, and communities.

Lavender Graduation honors LGBTQIA+ lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and ace-identified graduates at Illinois State. This event will be at 4 p.m. April 22, in the Old Main Room at the Bone Student Center.  

Nuestros Logros honors Latino/a/x graduates at Illinois State. This event will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29, in Capen Auditorium at Edwards Hall.  

MAPS  honors Middle Eastern, Asian, Pacific Islander, and Southeast Asian graduates at Illinois State. This event will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6, in the Multicultural Center.  

The Umoja Community Forum is hosting its annual celebration for Illinois State University students of African descent and from the African diaspora. Umoja: Black Graduation Celebration at Illinois State University will be 6 p.m. Thursday, May 11, in Braden Auditorium at the Bone Student Cent.
