The Office of Research and Graduate Studies (ORGS) is accepting proposals for the 2024–2025 academic year Research Lecture Series. This series will be supported by ORGS and should consist of approximately four to six talks.
ORGS has supported a speaker series in each of the past four years. The series has ranged from topics focused on water research, how people engage with photographs, energy for a sustainable future, and most recently to a seminar series on nuclear weapons.
Proposals should include the following information:
- Theme
- Potential speakers
- Frequency of events
- Budget (include any co-sponsors/source of funds)
- How these series align with Illinois State’s strategic plan
- How this series will advance Illinois State
