The Office of Research and Graduate Studies will host a workshop to help faculty apply for Illinois Innovation Network (IIN) grants. The IIN offers the Sustaining Illinois Seed Grant and the Social Innovation and Impact Grant.
Dr. Rebekka Darner from the Center for Mathematics, Science, and Technology and Dr. Harriett Steinbach from the Office of Research and Graduate Studies will lead the workshop. Darner has received several Sustaining Illinois grants, and Steinbach works closely with the IIN including serving as a reviewer for Social Innovation grant applications. Participants will learn about grant requirements, including having a cross-hub partner and navigating the cost-share arrangements. A panel of Illinois State University faculty members who have received a grant previously will also share their perspectives.
The workshop will be held Friday, October 25, 2024, from 9-11 a.m. in Stevenson 401A. Breakfast will be provided.
