The Mennonite College of Nursing (MCN) celebrated the accelerated B.S.N. and RN-B.S.N. students who completed their programs in August at a reception August 9 at the Bone Student Center.

The Mennonite College of Nursing (MCN) Simulation Lab has hosted many visitors; however, when U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin’s staff called to schedule a visit July 2, it was clearly a special honor for the college and Illinois State University.

High school students who are interested in a nursing career had the opportunity to learn about nursing this summer by participating in the Mennonite College of Nursing’s (MCN) first PROUD (Pre-entry and Retention Opportunities for Undergraduate Diversity) Summer Nurse Camp at Illinois State University.

In just a few weeks, the campus will be welcoming back students, faculty, and staff for the start of the fall semester. Mennonite College of Nursing faculty, staff, and students will kick off the new semester Friday, August 16, with meetings, orientations, and the annual convocation ceremony.
