Agriculture seniors excel in AgYield Intercollegiate Challenge

This fall, five outstanding Department of Agriculture students participated in the AgYield 2017 Intercollegiate Marketing Challenge from October 10th through November 15th. Over the course of this 36 day challenge, seniors David Beeler, Libbie Goble, Kody VanDyke, Stephanie Hartke, and Jacob Styan, completed an online commodity marketing challenge in which they managed a simulated grain

Jackpot cattle show hits the jackpot

Next year will mark the third year of Illinois State University’s Hoof N’ Horn Jackpot show, The Redbird Rumble. This past spring, they made history by hosting the largest jackpot cattle show in Illinois!

The Illinois State University Department of Agriculture is offering scholarships to current and new/incoming students. These scholarships are offered to full-time students pursuing, or planning to pursue, a degree in the Department of Agriculture at Illinois State.
