Illinois Tutoring Initiative: Building a love of learning

In the spring of 2022, Illinois education agencies launched the Illinois Tutoring Initiative in response to the learning disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. When schools turned to remote learning, it caused many students to fall behind academically and socially. The initiative thoroughly trains tutors to help students across the state in both areas.

Meet your 2023 Three Minute Thesis contestants

This year, 11 contestants will compete and have the opportunity to share their research with all in attendance. Hear from each contestant and learn more about their research topic, their department support, and the faculty and staff impact that has been made.

Three Minute Thesis competition, February 23

Normal Theatre, located in Uptown Normal, will again be hosting the Three Minute Thesis Competition.

The annual Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, February 23, at the Normal Theater located in Uptown Normal. The event is free and open to the public.
