Mark Jackson ’87 has made a career of the unexpected; in fact, he’s made two. After graduating from Illinois State University’s College of Business with a degree in finance, Jackson had no plans for a career in the military or law enforcement, but both professions turned out to be prominent in his life story.

School of IT Students teamed up to create a webpage for a local business
Eddie Becker, an Information Systems –System analytics student; Mathew Weiner ’20, a recent Computer Science graduate; Erik Wenth, a Cybersecurity student; Zach Oettle, a student of Networking and Telecommunications Management; and Ryan Skare, an Information Systems student with a focus on Web Application Development were teamed up randomly in IT 391- last summer and completed a successful project for a local business – The Recipe Girls.
Charles Morris STEM Social to feature Dr. Jennifer J. Parker, November 10
The social will provide networking and information to students interested in STEM fields. Scholarship winners will be announced at the social. Applications for scholarships are due November 3.
