Illinois State University Board of Trustees names Aondover Tarhule as 21st president, approves four-year contract
The Illinois State University Board of Trustees named Dr. Aondover Tarhule as the University’s 21st president on March 18, 2024. Trustees also approved a four-year contract for Tarhule that will expire March 17, 2028.

The Founding Celebration, February 15, 2024
Illinois State University will honor its founding on February 15 with a bell ringing ceremony. The event will be followed by an appreciation luncheon for faculty and staff members only that includes an awards ceremony.
