CAS launches food drive for School Street Pantry
The College of Arts and Sciences will conduct a food drive to benefit the School Street Food Pantry, September 18-29. Collection boxes are available in the College office (141 Stevenson Hall) and in all school and department offices.
Breu to deliver CAS lecture, September 28
Professor of English Dr. Christopher Breu will deliver the 2023 Fall College of Arts and Sciences lecture at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, in Room 242, Schroeder Hall. A reception will follow the lecture in the Schroeder Art Gallery. His talk, “In Defense of Sex: Rethinking Embodiment and Desire in the Twenty-First Century,” is free and open to the public.

Workshop with focus on assisting Latino/a/x college students coming June 1
Everyone is welcome to attend the second annual Communities of Belonging and Success (COBAS) Taller (Workshop) on Thursday, June 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Williams Hall, Room 314. The workshop is made possible by an Illinois State University Provost Innovation and Enhancement Grant. There is no cost for attending, but participants must register in advance with Lourdes Concepción Cabán at ldconce@ilstu.edu
