Retirement reception for Linda Spencer, May 9
There will be a retirement reception to celebrate Linda Spencer of the Department of History from 3-4:30 p.m. in the Founders Suite of the Bone Student Center.
Clarence W. Sorensen Distinguished Dissertation Award
The winner of the 2017 Clarence W. Sorensen Distinguished Dissertation Award is Lynda M. Kasky-Hernandez for her dissertation “Attachment and Disclosure to Mothers: Predictors of Adjustment During the College Transition.”
Matejka recipient of 2017 Grabill-Homan Peace Prize
Normal resident Mike Matejka is the 2017 recipient of the Illinois State University Grabill-Homan Peace Prize.
Technology and Engineering Education alum seeks to inspire
Technology and Engineering Education alumna Kelly Smith now teaches at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire. She teaches classes in Print Media, Media Arts Design and Development, and Audio Video Design.
