The first ever Veterans Day 5K in honor of Sgt. Josh Rodgers will be from 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, November 9. The event is hosted by Illinois State University’s veterans fraternity, Omega Delta Sigma, and the Illinois State University Army ROTC program.
Race registration is available here. Cost is $20 per person. Funds from this event will go to Sgt. Josh Rodgers Memorial Fund, the local Veterans Fraternity Omega Delta Sigma, and ISU ROTC.
These funds will make a difference in the lives of veterans of Central Illinois. Those who cannot participate, but wish to support the fund can donate here.

The race begins at 9 a.m., but participants are encouraged to hang around for snacks and camaraderie with local veteran and military groups from the community.
NOTE: In order to be guaranteed a shirt, tickets have to be registered by October 28. There will be extras available on a first-come, first-serve basis. When registering, please note shirt size and the branch of military supported for the race. The colors of the branch you choose will be reflected on the shirt.
