NOTE: The Clothesline Project display has been rescheduled for April 19.
The Clothesline Project will be on display from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Tuesday, April 19 on the Illinois State University Quad.
This event is free and open to the public.
The shirts, designed over the past 25 years by student survivors on the ISU campus, provide a space for each person’s unique story of sexual assault and violence. Survivors are welcome to visit the Clothesline Project and create a shirt.
Stepping Stones is working in collaboration with the department of Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program, the Student Wellness Ambassadors Team (SWAT), Students Ending Rape Culture (SERC), and Health Promotion and Wellness, and the YWCA McLean County Stepping Stones program to raise awareness and conversation to this important topic.
