The Department of Politics and Government is hosting a retirement reception honoring Dr. T.Y. Wang, chair and professor for the department, from 3:30-6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, in the Founders Suite inside Bone Student Center. The University community is invited to attend. Remarks will begin at 5 p.m.
Wang is retiring after 34 years of service in Politics and Government at Illinois State. Wang has been recognized numerous times during his Illinois State career for his dedicated service and community involvement. He was recognized as an Outstanding College Researcher in 2015 and as an ISU University Professor in 2020.
