Illinois State University programs are once again listed on U.S. News & World Report’s rankings for Best Graduate Schools, with four in the top 100.
Both graduate programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders ranked within the top 100 of their fields, with the Audiology program named 46th in the nation, and the Speech-Language Pathology program at 82. The College of Education’s graduate programs came in 83rd in the nation, and the graduate programs in the Wonsook Kim College of Fine Arts ranked 89th among MFA programs across the country.
“Illinois State University prides itself in our graduate programs and variety of programmatic offerings, attracting high quality students,” said Illinois State’s Graduate School Director Noelle Selkow. “Though rankings are not the main way we measure the success of our programs, they are an acknowledgement of the hard work and dedication of our faculty, staff, and students.”
Other Illinois State graduate programs included in the ranking are the Department of English (131), the College of Business part-time MBA program (138), the School of Biological Sciences (224), the School of Social Work (163), and the Department of Psychology (163).
Illinois State is one of more than 800 institutions with graduate schools surveyed by U.S. News on an annual basis.
