On an average weekday, more than 11,000 meals are served in the University’s dining centers; one quarter of these are carried out. And all those carryout containers go into landfills–or at least they did.

Campus Dining recognizes 15 student employees as Superstars
Fifteen Campus Dining Services student employees were named Superstars in December. Superstar Awards recognize student staff who demonstrate superior performance in the areas of customer service, leadership, and work excellence. Students may be recognized and receive the Superstar Award for any one area or be recognized for the All-Around Superstar Award, indicating superior performance in all three areas.
ISU Burger King named Franchise Operator of the Year
Burger King in the Bone Student Center, operated by Campus Dining Services, was honored by Burger King corporate as Franchise Operator of the Year for 2013.
Einstein Bros. Bagels to open satellite location in Milner Library
Great news for coffee and bagel fans–Campus Dining Services is opening a second Einstein Bros. Bagels in Milner Library. The satellite location, set to open in mid-November, will feature coffee, bottled beverages, bagels and cream cheese, sandwiches, and baked goods.

Meal Plan Change Form available October 2
The spring 2013 Meal Plan Change Request Form will be available starting Oct. 2 on the Campus Dining website (Dining.IllinoisState.edu). Students livings in the residence halls, at Cardinal Court, or off-campus can use the form to change their spring meal plan selection through January 9, 2013.
