Eleven exceptional teachers will be recognized at the University-Wide Teaching & Learning Symposium in January. The University Teaching Committee, on behalf of the Office of the Provost, has named the 2022 Outstanding University Teaching Awards recipients.
Nominees for these awards were put forward by their departments and colleges. They then submitted portfolios for review.
“Again this year, reviewers faced a daunting task,” said Dr. Jennifer Friberg, who chairs the committee. “The colleges nominated an extraordinary group of dedicated teaching professionals. Reviewers had to pick not just the best from a good pool of teachers, but, genuinely, the “best of the best.”
